Following the announcement of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, we can confirm that we will be closed on Monday 19th September 2022, for the State Funeral.
This will be a Bank Holiday.
Surgery will return to normal on Tuesday 20th September.
Calls to the surgery between 8.00am and 10.00am Monday to Friday are for on the day / acute telephone appointments, for any other queries or requests, please call after 10.00 am, if you do call before 10.00am you will be asked to call back.
For test results please call after 11.00am.
If you are calling to check if repeat / acute prescriptions have been issued, please call your nominated pharmacy in the first instance.

Woodlands patients. As things are settling down post merger, we would like to make all our patients aware that all our clinical staff are going to be working across both sites, be it HCA, Nurses or GPs, and alternating between both sites. So please when you make appointments or are asked to be seen by a clinician please be certain to ask which site you would need to attend. We will endeaver that our clinical staff and admin staff reinforce where the appointments will be. We hope to see you across both sites in due course.
Despite easing of lockdown restrictions the risk of Covid-19 remains, we continue to have precautions in place when you attend for an appointment:
1. Do Not Attend if you or household member have symptoms of Covid-19.
2. Do wear a mask when entering the practice.
Welcome to Woodlands Medical Practice
2 sites one practice on 21st June 2021, Woodlands medical practice added a branch site South Chadderton Health Centre. Both sites are Woodlands Medical practice (P85010) the Main site in situ in North Chadderton, Chadderton town Health Centre, middleton road and the Branch site South Chadderton Health Centre, Eaves lane. Patient services will be offered across both sites.
The phone lines at Woodlands North and Woodlands South are one number 0161 357 2300, giving us more staff members to take your calls, all our staff across both sites have access to your patient information, can book appointments and deal with any queries you may have.

We are asking the reason for all appointments this will mean you will be asked by a member of reception what your appointment is for – this is not intended to cause distress and our receptionists are bound by the code of confidentiality, they have been requested to obtain this information to ensure you are getting the correct and appropriate clinical appointment, this information is at the doctors request.
Failure to disclose this information can result in a delay or an inappropriate appointment.
