For HRT and Contraception please fill in an NHS contact us online link which is also found on home page. Please include a recent blood pressure reading, which can be taken on your home BP Machine or from your local pharmacy. A Face to Face appointment will be arranged if needed.

Repeat Prescriptions

If you are calling to check if repeat/acute prescriptions have been issued, please call your nominated pharmacy in the first instance. 

Repeat prescriptions can be ordered in the following ways:

  1. By email to prescriptionswoodlands@nhs.net - please email the names of all the items you require

  2. By posting your request in the boxes available in both practice sites or external Post box on the Burnley Street side of the Chadderton Town Health Centre building (please tick the items required on the printed list)
  3. Order online via the link at the top of this page. New users are required to register prior to using the system or if the patient registers at the window proof of name and address are required when registering for this service.

Repeat prescriptions will be ready to collect 2 working days later.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
